We are so happy to have one of Irwin’s beautiful oil, acrylic paintings of lilies, Jewel of the Andes, hanging over our piano in our family room. We have enjoyed sharing it with many of our family and friends who have also loved it.”

Brief Bio

I have had a life-long interest in art and poetry, but graduated from the University of Glasgow, Scotland with an MD degree. During my medical career, I continued to paint and write poetry and have published a book, “Memories & Milestones” of selected poems and paintings in 2007. In 2015, I published my second book “My Parallel Universe” a wonderful book of haikus, poems and paintings. I have had numerous shows of my work throughout New England.  My paintings have been exhibited in numerous shows throughout metro Boston including the former  Nielsen Gallery in Boston, the Perrin Gallery in Brookline, and the Wedeman Art Gallery in Newton.

I paint with oil and acrylic on canvas and all my paintings are archival.
